The junior training is offered in a functional or technical track. These highly interactive and intensive courses are specifically designed to cover the key areas of consultancy and development in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central over a total of 5 weeks. The participants will go through the required Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules, and will be taught theoretical and practical backgrounds.
Both tracks will be concluded with a major project integrating all topics and skills that have been covered and acquired during the training.

functional track

The functional track is broken down into eight essential modules, as follows:

  1. Dynamics 365 Business Central Introduction, including history, explanation and exercises teaching the main modules, finishing with overall
    case.
    Note that topic will be covered in the first week of the course in a joined class with the technical track.
  2. Financial Management, including setup of a new company, complete case-oriented hands-on labs, analyses and presentations
    of sub-module by learners.
  3. Trade and Logistics, including WMS, complete case-oriented hands-on labs, analyses and presentations of sub-module by
    learners.
  4. CRM and Jobs, complete case-oriented hands-on labs, analyses and presentations of sub-module by learners.
  5. Manufacturing, complete case-oriented hands-on labs, analyses and presentations of sub-module by learners.
  6. Database Structure and Power BI, including Classic, RTC, transformation, SRS/JET, guidelines and best practices.
  7. Database Errors, including Analyses, Assumptions & risks, object transformation, object upgrade & merge, Tool Kit and best
    practice.
  8. Consultancy skills, including Sure Step methodology, Consultancy, Project Management, and (Pre-) Sales.

technical track

The technical track is broken down into seven essential modules, as follows:

  1. Dynamics 365 Business Central Introduction, including history, explanation and exercises teaching the main modules, finishing with overall
    case.
    Note that topic will be covered in the first week of the course in a joined class with the functional track.
  2. Technology environment, including architecture, object design, security, licensing, localisation and add-ons.
  3. Installation, Setup and Configuration, including NAV databases, Roles & permissions, user set-up, Filtering and short-cuts
  4. Development Lifecycle (Specify > Develop > Test), including Roles in a project, methodologies, planning, development, QA and
    post project support.
  5. Solution Development and Development Standards, including Development environment, programming, standards, object
    development, Web services, SQL, performance and debugging.
  6. Report Writing, including Classic, RTC, transformation, guidelines and best practices.
  7. Upgrade Process, including Stages & steps, Assumptions & risks, object transformation, object upgrade & merge, Tool Kit and
    best practice
